Round Hill Resort. This is the perfect
get-away to help melt some winter chill
as you discover new aspects of your
self and your practice. Make new friends,
soak up the sun and playfully explore
yoga with these two inspiring teachers.
Rita
Trieger is the editor-in-chief of both
Fit
Yoga Magazine and Fit Magazine,
and the author of Yoga Heals Your
Back [Fairwinds, 2005], and Tranquil
Mind, a meditation CD. She has
studied with some of the world's most
renowned teachers including, Baron Baptiste,
Cyndi Lee, Shiva Rea and Rodney Yee
and she incorporates these traditions
into her inspiring and challenging flow-style
classes. She lives, practices, and teaches
yoga in New York City at OM Yoga and
Levitate Yoga, and in Connecticut at
Stamford Hospital's Health and Fitness
Institute and the Bennet Cancer Center.
Her dedicated students are truly a testament
to the kind of person and teacher she
is. Take this opportunity to discover
why Rita has touched so many with her
genuine and spirited style.
Bruce
Bassock is a former commodity and equity
trader turned yogi. After healing his
back and reducing his blood pressure
through the practice of yoga, he decided
to become an instructor and share the
healing effects of yoga with others.
Bruce has been teaching yoga for over
10 years and owns Elements
Yoga & Wellness Center in Connecticut.
He first studied the ISHTA style of
yoga with Alan Finger and taught in
New York City at Yoga Zone/Yoga Works.
He now blends this knowledge with both
the Iyengar and Anusara traditions for
a flowing alignment focused class. Bruce
has a gentle and warm approach to his
teachings which he sprinkles with dash
of humor. Aside from being a yogi, he
is also an avid tennis player and would
love to set up a game at Round Hill.

Special
Note for Beginners: If
there is someone special in your life
that you've been wanting to introduce
to yoga, now is the time to do it! Bruce
and Rita have the ability to make any
aspiring yogi feel at ease by providing
a safe and comfortable environment for
newcomers. Two additional instructors
will also be available to offer extra
assistance for anyone who needs a little
more guidance. New students are sure
to feel secure in this nurturing format
which will allow them to explore the
postures with confidence and clarity.
